Tightly packed. It was shipped in 2 cardboard boxes with bubble wrap around the stand. The stand gives me a really solid feeling. It's made of aluminum and equipped with quite bearings. Super easy to clean, since it's made out of aluminum. The decorator that came with it's also made out of aluminum.

i put this to good use frosting a few cakes, the spin is good and the surface size is good for the average 9" cake. I think the surface is a bit too rough for a finished coat but is fine for crumb coats. The surface does grip a anti slide piece well for boarded cakes. All in all a good value. The extra tools are a nice accessory but the comb is very deep, the plastic edge was a bit too rough and the palett knife a bit too flimsy, still a nice addition if you need them

It came fast. I make cakes at home as a side biz and i had an old turn table and just needed an upgrade.
I am only giving this a 4 star because it has a chip as shown in a pic. I use a leveler and it is somehow not so leveled specially if you attach the non slip mat under that it comes with it is not leveled at all.
For the value i think it is ok.
The offset spatula is flimsy but can be used still. The cake smoother works ive used them.

This is a really sturdy and great stand to decorate a cake. It unfortunately came already with a small dent but I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it. It does rust easily on the bottom so when drying, I would turn it upside down.
